LOR is a new woman wear brand based in Milan (Italy) born by Laura and Rosa's true passion for fashion.
Rosa is behind the sketches and flat drawing, while she and Laura follow all collection steps.
The philosophy behind LOR are timeless outfit made out with high quality Italian fabrics mostly in pastel colors; also the prototypes and final outfit are developed in Milan, in a small laboratory, to guaranty a product that is entirely Made in Italy.

Progetto Atelier is a fashion brand that base is philosophy on recycling fabrics, and Nadia Gozzini is the designer behind it. 
She is an expert in sawing, and she uses oddments factory fabrics and old clothes to design and create simple and clean garments.
According to the oddments size, pattern and color, she combine them using the patchwork technique to make coat, t-shirts, skirt and trousers in a urban and births style.

Danila Galante is persuades that design nowadays has more responsibility comparing to the past in developing no polluted products, and this branch of design, related to sustainability, should be see as a creative possibility not as a limitation.

Jun designs this capsule collection by elaborating the basic T-Shirt to create something different: a capsule collection that involves cut and pleat combined on a neat design.
Pastel color on the shade of light blue and pink gives to the entire collection a fresh and young look. The garments are made in elastic and soft jersey, for a comfortable fit.

Olívia is from Brazil. During 2007, while she was studying fashion design in São Paulo, she spent some time in Tokyo. Over there she was able to see runway looks in store and all over the city, not just on fashion magazine like Vogue.

Meeting L.Loffreda

Last Saturday, at design library, I had a interesting chitchat with Ludovico Loffreda, who presented his collection during the past Milan Fashion Week.
We spoke about his last work, his new project for the coming Salone del Mobile, and his idea about fashion. Actually he is a really active and a versatile designer.
His interests do not cover just the fashion field, even if he has a deeply knowledge about it; but he loves to know and understand human being and the society where they are living.

Santo Spada

The fashion week in Milan is over, and during the last day, February 28th, in the scenic spot of Castello Sforzesco, the designers of New Generation showcased their ideal women for the coming F/W 2013. 
Santo Sapda was one of them.
Since his teenager hood, Santo worked in the atelier of Saint Crispino Couture, where he learned all the fine techniques of stitching, sawing and draping.

Yi-Lin Cheng is a spontaneous and full of joy young designer.
She is really talented as a fashion illustrator and her mentor are R. Gruau and A. Lopez.
 

"I love drawing […] I will love to be a fashion illustrator of the 50's and 60's […] and fashion illustrator was the reason I chose fashion as a major".
She use any kind of media, but usually she draws using pantone marker and pencil.
