Jun Chia

Jun is the chief designer behind the Shanghai based brand KISMET.

 

He is from Singapore and few years ago he moved to Shanghai, China, where he improved his skills as a pattern maker. 

Before he studied in London at College of Fashion. Over there he was influenced by the street style of the city and by the approach to fashion: experimental and innovative.

Kismet is a good balance between creativity and commercial trend; a collection designed for young and metropolitan women. 

Each garment is broken down into parts and difference elements are incorporate into this cut to create new shapes and lines: a different approach, where jersey and soft fabrics are fold and sewn together to make new volume.
