Soojin Kang

Soojin Kang is specialized in women knitwear design and she won the second edition of of Feel the Yarn competition held in Pitti Immagine Filati in July 2011.

This competition aims to introduce new designer who has a distinguished creativity to valorize the yarn by experimental knitting techniques and a sensitive color combination.

Soojin's inspiration was "fluid body movement".
The fabric is knitted with some metallic yarn that gives light movements to the outfit, and the main idea is to add string to give different volume and shape to the final dress.

So the outfit could be changed and worn in different way, according to your body type or to the occasion.

The use of neutral color like gray combine with stripes of the two complementary colors -orange and blue- gives a strong feeling to those dresses for a charming evening.
