LOR

LOR is a new woman wear brand based in Milan (Italy) born by Laura and Rosa's true passion for fashion.

Rosa is behind the sketches and flat drawing, while she and Laura follow all collection steps.

The philosophy behind LOR are timeless outfit made out with high quality Italian fabrics mostly in pastel colors; also the prototypes and final outfit are developed in Milan, in a small laboratory, to guaranty a product that is entirely Made in Italy.

Laura and Rosa follow their concept of fashion that is romantic, sweet and cocoon by designing simple line for every day clothes. LOR collections have no references to fashion trend, so each pieces could be worn in the present like in a few year forward.

Laura and Rosa have also intriguing promoting ideas, and in those the new social networks like facebook give a handle. They create informal happening to present LOR collection, where costumers are invited to have a cup of tea while they are taking a look at LOR clothes, like in a atelier of the past. And like inside an atelier, LOR gives the opportunity to have costumed garment.

For each spring/summer season Laura and Rosa rise a "evening wear contest": they upload three evening gown sketches on facebook and the one that gets more "like" is going to be insert in the collection. During the last S/S 12 the Angelica gown won this contest, and it was made in fuchsia chiffon.
