The fashion week in Milan is over, and during the last day, February 28th, in the scenic spot of Castello Sforzesco, the designers of New Generation showcased their ideal women for the coming F/W 2013.
Santo Sapda was one of them.
Since his teenager hood, Santo worked in the atelier of Saint Crispino Couture, where he learned all the fine techniques of stitching, sawing and draping.
In 2008 he graduated as a fashion designer at IED, Milan. Nowadays is working between London and Paris to improve his talent and get new inspirations.
He designed a collection full of cocktail dresses, covered by cocoon coat. Silk and transparent chiffon fly around women's shape. The light pastel color used for the dresses make a strong contrast with the black and structured coat.
According to Santo, even if it happened during the last day of the fashion week, it was an honor and an opportunity to show case his collection on the catwalk in Milan.
Bebbe Angiolini, buyer's president at Camera del Commercio della Moda, agreed with Santo and added: "During this time of crisis, it is crucial to valorize and promote the new designer, the future for Italy".
